Made Slow Exhibition

"Made Slow" exhibition opened this weekend, showcasing The Donegal Designer Makers.

The exhibition presents pieces that tell stories of time invested and materials respected— pottery, textiles, jewellery, Soapworks and inspiring framed artworks. Each piece represents a quiet moment against our fast world.

What strikes you most isn't just the craftsmanship, but the sense of presence these objects carry. In a time when much feels disposable, these pieces feel permanent, made to last both physically and emotionally.

In Donegal's landscape of stone walls built to endure centuries, this slower approach to making simply makes sense.

"Made Slow" runs through the month of August at The Donegal Designer Makers Gallery and Shop in Ardara.

It's worth the slower journey to get there.
