Brian McGee has been working in ceramic design for over forty years.

Born in Derry Brian studied Art and Design in Birmingham in the 1970's, setting up his practice in Donegal in 1987. He also ran the Craftworks Pottery school and taught at the North West Regional College in Derry since 2000. Having introduced hundreds of  students to clay for the first time, he still runs workshops and classes from time to time.

An enthusiastic believer in, the affordable handmade product, he is well known for his thrown tableware, sculptural work and many public art projects.
